Shirley's Fund Raising Event 2006
I have an Adland Pro friend who is assembling an event for charity. Her name is Shirley Caron, and I recently learned that she's seeking musical talent for this upcoming show. I thought I might try to help her spread the word. The actual event is a few months away. So there's plenty of time to plan.
Here are her words on what is needed...
"We need a lot of help with this Event, so, if anyone can help us in the way of, Sponsoring, Entertainment, such as: Singing, especially, Country/Gospel/or Bluegrass, Playing Musical Instruments and helping us to find a Place to hold the Event, please feel free to Contact me. We have our own Caterer. We reside on the South side of Indianapolis, Indiana(Greenwood, Indiana), and if possible, we are looking to be able to hold the Event around the Greenwood area. We could also use people that are familiar with these types of Fundraisers to help form a Committee. We want to be sure that everything works out well, and that we are following all the Rules that apply... Some of our Entertainers will be coming to Indiana from out-of-state, and they are deserving of a great, warm welcome! All of them are very talented Artists, and some of them have Performed at The Grand Ole Opry and The Nashville Palace in Nashville, Tennessee."
This is the charitable purpose of the event...
"My Husband and I are planning on having a special Fundraising Event on January 21, 2006! The Charity that we are raising funds for is The Epilepsy Foundation. We hope for this Event to be a real prosperous venture. Everyone is invited, especially those that suffer with Epilepsy and their Families! We are holding this Event to bring an Awareness to everyone about Epilepsy and what can be done for the sufferers and the way in which their Families can be of assistance to them."
