Recruiting Affiliates is Like Pulling Teeth
Affiliates, a popular topic with me lately, because I'm an obsessed woman on a mission. This post could go into my case study updates but there's been a new wrench thrown in for good measure. I've been invited to contribute a chapter on a free ebook project. My chapter happens to be the affiliate marketing chapter, and also the thorn in my side with the new eBay project. What I mean to say is that it has been easier to sell my own product than it has for me to pay other people to sell it! Why is that?
So, I'm researching affiliate stuff, and what I'm finding is a lot of info for publishers who want to join programs but not for merchants who want to recruit affiliates. I'm blindly posting to affiliate forums, sending out thousands of safelist emails (20,695 actually), and asking the affiliate experts what I should do.
The "Best of eBay" project is launching September 6th for a 7 day stretch. So, I only have about a week left to get my team together. We're looking at over $400 bucks worth of auction resources for only $97. You'll get 2 tier commissions when you promote this. 50% on tier 1 referrals and 25% on tier 2 referrals. This means that if you don't sign up affiliates under you, you'll get 50% commission for everyone that makes a purchase with your link. If you sign up more affiliates under you to sell in higher volume, you'll both split the commission 25%/25%.
What I think is happening is that people are sick of eBay, but they don't realize that it's a doorway to other sales for you, because once an eBayer starts making money with eBay, guess what? They need other information like search engine marketing; list building, traffic, better advertising, and anything else that can help us sell more.
If you sell on eBay, like I do, then you know that it's a great opportunity and like me, you get people asking you all the time how to get started. If you sell something else like info products, then you might want to consider the potential of helping eBayers with future needs. You could gain a customer for life if you sell with integrity.
How can you get paid for this event? Well, here are the specifics:
The sales page can be seen here
The link to sign up and start making money is here
Sign up as soon as possible, because this opportunity will be gone before you know it.
Once you've registered, sign in to access your links with your ID already inserted from within the affiliate center by selecting the "Downline" button. Then cut and paste the links onto your webpage or into your emails.
Any questions, please let me know.
That's it for now. Go ahead and get registered, grab your first pre-launch letter in the "Links & Ads" section and get ready to have some fun and make some cash.
There are ten contributors to the "Best of eBay" and the resources really are among the best out there or I wouldn't be here promoting this.
Many Blessings, Thalia
